PcVue version 10.0
In general if a project is used with a later version of PcVue it will be automatically converted to that version. Occasionally it may be necessary to make manual modifications.
Summary:

Demonstrates the main features of PcVue that would be required to generate a CFR21 Part 11 compliant project.
NOTE. Using these features alone does not produce a CFR21 Part 11 compliant project.
Details:

The main features of PcVue that are demonstrated in this project are:

  •  In User accounts – use of the options ‘Use the advanced security strategy’ and ‘Impose strong password’.
  •  Use of the ‘User’ animation.
  •  Use of the Event Viewer to create a User Log including failed logon attempts.
  •  System Variables associated with User Accounts.
  •  Use of the Double Signature animation on control zones.
  •  Previous Value logging when sending a register value.

Not used in this project for the sake of useability, but would be required in practice, are the options:

  •  User accounts – Encrypt user accounts configuration files
  •  Archives – Secure records to prevent tampering with files
