The format string by which a variable is configured may be entered in the variable definition or, when it is displayed in a mimic, in the definition of the animation’s support drawing element.

You can complete the Units Text field (using the #u format string) so as to display the Units Text with the Register value.

However it is also possible to display only the Units Text field, as follows:

• Define a Register Variable with an entry in the Units Text field.
• Add a Display Register animation using the format string: @#u.
• When the variable has a value, the animation will display only its Units Text.
