Summary:

This article explains how to export AUTOCAD, version 13, 14 and later, images in WMF (Windows Metafile) format so as to insert them in PcVue mimics.
Details:

  1. From AUTOCAD, select the Export menu. A dialog Save As is opened.
  2. Give the name and the path of the file to be saved (e.g. the \B folder of the PcVue project).
  3. Confirm with Save.
  4. In Object selection in the AUTOCAD status bar (at the foot of the screen), select all objects to be saved in the WMF file.
  5. Once the selection is done, confirm by Enter, and the WMF file will be saved.
