Built-in SNMP Manager
The Supervisor now supports SNMP and ICMP for network device monitoring. In addition to a data acquisition driver supporting SNMP v1, v2/2c and v3, you benefit from:

  • An advanced MIB browser integrated into the variable mapping editor.
It supports both online and offline browsing, helping you to configure and troubleshoot the mapping of SNMP data,
  • An innovative ad hoc synchronization at startup makes traps as easy to set up as polling,
  • An ICMP-Ping driver to monitor unmanaged devices,
  • High level of performance and availability with up to a 1 000 devices connected to a single data acquisition server or association of redundant servers.

SNMP communication items can be included in templates and instances. This makes it easy to model and re-use SNMP components according to your recurring needs on projects.
The most widely used standard MIB files are installed with the Supervisor. You can add more MIB files if necessary.

New wizard for exporting data
The wizard, available at runtime from the Trend Viewer, allows you to export archived data to Microsoft® Excel or csv files. You can go from on-screen trend curves to an Excel worksheet in just a few clicks.

As the data export, the wizard is able to export raw and sampled data, as well as statistical and aggregated data

Chart component
The new Chart mimic component allows you to display y=f(x) charts based on archived data.
The component supports up to 8 data series, plus 2 reference series for data profiles. The following chart styles are available: Lines, step lines, splines, points, columns, areas, cylinders… both stacked or unstacked.

A toolbar allows users to zoom, print and request data at runtime.
Extensive scripting is also available for more advanced requirements.

Map control
Directly integrated into mimics, it allows you to monitor and control geographically distributed assets through an interactive map. Any of the Supervisor’s graphic symbol can turn into an interactive marker on a map, providing re-use of existing libraries and continuity with graphic items familiar to users of the system.

It includes support for major map providers such as OpenStreetMap, Google Maps, ArcGIS…
Maps may be accessed online or cached in the system, thus avoiding the need for Internet connectivity.

In addition, you can interact with the Map control using predefined animations, without scripting.
A tool to create and manage map cache, as well as a marker editor are supplied.
Extensive scripting is also available for more advanced requirements.
