PcVue version 7.10c.
In general if a project is used with a later version of PcVue it will be automatically converted to that version. Occasionally it may be necessary to make manual modifications.
Summary:

This project demonstrates the use of substitution characters to provide context sensitive information. Substitution characters can be used in:

  • A window’s title bar to display the time and date and the branch with which the window was opened.
  • In the Label animation to display the branch of the Window and/or symbol in which the animation resides.
  • In the Link-open animation to change the window that is opened depending on the window in which the animation resides or the User that is logged on.
  • In a context window to provide information about the variable from which it was called. To see an example of the use of substitution characters in a context window see the AlarmDisplay project.
