With PcVue 9.0 and Windows Vista, Windows Server 2008 or Windows 7, the first time PcVue is started the user is requested to run in the context of an administrator account (“Run as administrator”). From PcVue version 10.0 onwards it is not necessary. |

| Details:
In addition to make it easier to use, this is an important enhancement to follow guidelines of the User Account Control (UAC) introduced with Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008, and also present in Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2. Another improvement is to show when PcVue is running with administrative rights on a system that supports UAC. In this case the text “ (Administrator)” is added in 3 parts as shown in the following picture:
