Applies to:

PcVue versions 7.10 onward with support for Windows XP, 2000 and NT. Sentinel Driver since version 5.41.
The basic content of this article may also be applicable to later versions of Pcvue although the detail may vary.
Summary:

This article explains how to test the link between the SafeNet (previously Rainbow) protection key and the SENTINEL driver.
Details:

  1. Start the file SENTINELMEDIC.EXE in attach file (download and rename with extension .exe).
  2. Follow the installation procedure.
  3. Start the program SENTMED.EXE.
  4. In the Select key field, choose the key (SuperPro).
  5. Select the button Find keys.
  6. If Error is 0, the keys have been detected.

Note SuperProMedic is supplied on the CD-ROM of PcVue, in the folder \SV\SENTINEL.
