Summary:
When using a temporary dongle the time-stamp that the dongle was last used is recorded. Subsequently, when starting PcVue, if the current time is earlier than the recorded time-stamp then PcVue will not start, you will get an error message saying that the system clock has moved backwards since the last use. In case a User has legitimately changed the system clock and is no longer able to start PcVue the following procedure can be useed to reset the dongle. THIS PROCEDURE CAN ONLY BE USED ONCE ON A PARTICULAR DONGLE

  1. Create a shortcut to the License Utility and add the –clock command line argument. Example:
    C:\ARC Informatique\PcVue 11.1\Bin\LicUtil.exe -clock
  2. Double check that the system clock is set to the current time as this reset can only be used once.
  3. Start the License Utility, plug in the dongle, and select the menu item Reset date of last use. 
  4. After that you will be able to start PcVue again.
