Summary:

This article explains how to find the version number of the Sentinel driver.


Details:

In Windows XP:

  1. Select Start.Settings.Control Panel.
  2. Double-click on the System icon .
  3. Select the Hardware tab and click on the Device Manager button.
  4. In the View menu, tick the option Show hidden devices.
  5. Expand Non-Plug and Play Drivers in the tree.
  6. Double-click on Sentinel.
  7. In the Driver tab, click on the Driver Details button.
  8. In the Driver File Details dialog, select the driver file Sentinel.sys.

The file version will be shown below the driver list:

In Windows 2000 and NT:

  1. Select Start.Settings.Configuration pane.
  2. Double-click on the Multimedia icon .
  3. Select the Peripheral tab.
  4. Double-click on Other peripheral.
  5. Double-click on Sentinel for i386 systems.
  6. Select Configuration.Select About.

The following message window will appear, showing the drivers’ version numbers:
