Summary:

Version 2.76 of DataVue is not qualified to work on Windows 7. However it can be used in the free virtual machine called ” XP mode”.
Details:

  1. Install the free ” XP Mode” on Windows 7.  The components are available from Microsoft. To locate them open Microsoft’s website and search for XP Mode.
    XP mode requires 3 installations:
    • Windows XP Mode
    • Windows Virtual PC
    • Windows XP mode update
  2. Configure the XP Mode
    • Apply any updates to XP (Windows update).
    • Set the same regional options as on the PC which in creates the PcVue project (configuration panel – > regional options tab regional options).
  3. Install DataVue.
    • Install DataVue on XP as normal.

To be able to reach the project being situated on Windows 7 create a network reader in XP.
